Almonds, Nuts, Roasted, Salted

Since the earliest of time and even before agriculture was used by the Greeks to have better food sources,’Nuts’ were a stable food and nutritional source in the diet of manhood in the dark ages. During those times, nuts were plentiful, as there were much more woods as today, and well liked for their simple storage, which allowed people to keep them for times where food was hard to discover. (Winter, rainy season, etc)

There’s evidence that as far back as the second century B.C., the Romans spread sugar almonds on special occasions such as marriages and births.

Nuts have their place in all cultures and throughout almost all cuisine around the world. Nuts are enjoyed by people of all ages because of their subtle flavor and higher fat and carbohydrate content. It is this subtle taste that Chefs like when creating new dishes and variations.

DESCRIPTION & SPECIES

Under the group nuts, we know anything from a seed to a legume or tuber. The peanut, for instance, is a legume, the Brazil nut and macadamia nut are seeds and almonds are the seed of a fruit like a peach.

Botanically nuts are single seeded fruits with a hard or leathery shell which have a edible kernel, which is enclosed in a soft inner skin.

Nut trees of any species are found all over the world. Almonds for example are found in California, Spain, Morocco, Italy as well as Australia, where as the walnut can be found anywhere from North America to the Andes and Persia to Australia. Asia also has a great variety of nuts. Ginkgo nuts in China, candle nuts in Indonesia and Malaysia, coconut in throughout southern Asia, cashew nuts in India and Malaysia and the Philippines, chestnuts in China and Japan, along with the water chestnut which is found in China, Japan, Korea and the East Indies.

ALMOND

Scientist consider the almond as a stone fruit, much like cherries, peaches and prunes.

Because most people only know the seed (stone) of this fruit, it’s usually accepted as a nut.

Almond on the tree, look like small green peaches. When ripe the shell will open and show the nut in its shell.

There are various varieties of almonds.

The bitter almond is actually the kernel of the apricot, which was found growing wild in China as far back as the late Tang Dynasty (AD 619-907).

This same apricot was taken to Europe and became the apricot fruit, which is now enjoyed all over the world. The bitter almond kernel is poisonous in its raw state and has to be boiled quickly and poached in a oven before being further used. It’s primarily used in Chinese desserts such as the almond bean curd.

The sweet almond is usually confined for fresh consumption. In 1986, California alone produced 70,000 tons of almonds, which is half of the world’s production. The almond has been cultivated around the Mediterranean since ancient times and may still be found wild in Algeria and around the black sea. They’re used for snacks, marzipan, confectionery, and desserts as well as for the production of liqueur nature, oil and cosmetic products.

Initially the trees originated in the area of Brisbane and Rockhampton in Queensland Australia. Only the female trees are producing a 2cm x 2.5cm nut at the pinecone.

In the old days, the bunya bunya pine nuts were steady food for the aborigines and also used in ceremonials. These days, the nuts gain in popularity through the trend of indigenous food in Australia (bush food) in the past few years.

The nut is rich is carbohydrate, similar to the chestnut, and therefore used more like a potato than a nut. The bunya bunya nuts can be eaten raw but are usually boiled for easy removing of skin. Shelled nuts are then butter fried and flavored with pepper or sugar, or added to stews and soups.

RED BOPPLE NUT

The reddish bopple nuts are a relative of the macadamia nut, and native to the tropical rain forest of the East Coast of Australia.

In contrary to most other nuts, the red bopple nut is very low on fat, but very high in potassium and calcium. The low fat content make this nut very easy digestible. The nuts are eaten raw or toasted.

COCONUT

Truly every part of the coconut is used, but only the coconut milk and the coconut meat are foods. The shell is used as charcoal, the husk is used to make ropes, brushes and clothing, and the back of the tree and leaves are used for roofs of houses and building material respectively.

The fruit of this hands’cocos nucifera’ has an edible kernel and therefore qualifies as a nut. Coconut palms grow best close to the seaside but have been demonstrated to withstand high altitude, although the production rate is diminishing as further away from the sea that the tree grows.

The large thick green pod encloses a brown fibrous husk around a brown shell, which comprises a layer of soft white flesh and the crystal clear water in the middle. Sub-species found only on one island of the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean, produces a nut often weighing over 20 kg, which requires 10 years to ripen.

Coconuts are the worlds most commercially employed nuts. Notably the meat, or copra, as it is called after sun drying, is vital for its export industries, in coconut growing countries. The coconut is a significant food source particularly in South East Asia, India, Brazil and the South Pacific Islands.

The copra can be brought shredded or desiccated and can be used in confectioneries, ice creams and to coat chicken or fish for frying. However much of it is pressed because of its oil also called coconut butter because it’s white and fatty at room temperature. Not only can it be used for cooking and to make margarine, but in addition, it goes to soaps, detergents, shampoos, face lotion, perfumes and candles.

It is also a major ingredient in glycerin, synthetic rubber, security glass and hydraulic brake fluid. Coconut juice or milk is the natural juice of the nut, but not the water in the coconut. It is won by shredding the raw coconut meat, then adding water and straining the mixture through a cotton cloth. The coconut milk has then the consistency and color of skim milk and is available canned or frozen.

CANDLE NUT

More recently, the nuts were grounded to a paste, mixed with copra (grated coconut milk ) and ten formed into a candle.

Candlenuts would be the seed of the candle berry tree native to Indonesia and Malaysia but widely spread throughout south East Asia, the South Pacific and Sri Lanka.

The nut has a very significant content on fat and is appreciated for the extracted oil for lighting in addition to cooking. The nut is colored gray to black, about 5cm in diameter, with a thin, papery husk containing a couple of nuts.

Candlenut oil for lighting purposes is extracted by roasting the nuts when they are just half ripe as oil for cooking is extracted by roasting the nuts when they are fully ripe. For human consumption, the nuts have to be roasted as uncooked once have been causing sicknesses.

Ripe candle nuts are roasted, then pounded into a meal and mixed with salt, chilies or shrimp paste for use in curries or as a spicy condiment into curries.

PALM NUT

The palmyra palm native to many South East Asian Countries creates a tough, shiny nut, from which a sweetish sap or gel is extracted. While this sap is used at the Indonesian cuisine for desserts and sauces, it is on other well known product that’s begin produced out of the palmyra palm – The Palm Sugar (gula melacca).

There aren’t reliable data available on the nutritional value of the palm nut, but it’s widely known that the fat is saturated.

MACADAMIA NUT

Native to Queensland and New South Wales in Australia, the macadamia nut takes its title from Dr John McAdam, a scientist and early promoter of the cultivation Australia.

The macadamia trees are evergreen and reach a height of around 20 meters.

In 1888, macadamia trees have been planted in Hawaii where through careful cloning and hybridization, it became an important commercial product.

It’s quite difficult to crack the macadamia nut as it’s shell is very hard and so tight into the kernel that when cracked the nut is smashed. In Hawaii, American scientist developed a way of separating the kernel in the shell by shrinking them in drying bins. Then they developed the first commercial cracker. It was through these two improvements that the macadamia nut could be formed to the commercial importance it has today.

This is also the reason macadamia nuts are just available already de-shelled. Macadamia nuts also are valued for their oil and the macadamia nut butter.

They are available roasted and salted. When purchasing macadamia nuts, give care they are packed in a air tight or vacuum bags, as they become easily rancid once opened.

Macadamia nuts are used for confectioneries or as snacks, but also gain in popularity in the kitchen because they have a very gentle and subtle taste and add texture to salads, and hot dishes. It’s oil makes excellent vinaigrette and cold sauces.

WATER CHESTNUTS

The title refers to a nut like tuber of a aquatic plant called Trapa. The crops are common to several areas of the world, but are mainly utilized in Japan, China and Thailand where it is also a sought after ingredient in it is cuisines.

The trapa plant roots in ponds and lakes and sends, its’ leaves to the surface, similar to a water lily. The water chestnut grows on the roots beneath the surface. Water chestnuts are round and flat with a diameter of 5 – 7cm. They have a soft black skin and white flesh like the flesh of a coconut. Water chestnuts can also be boiled and made into flour, which is used for thickening of sauces and dishes, similar to cornstarch.

CHESTNUT

Chestnuts are thought to have originated in Southern Europe and Persia even though they’re also found in China, Japan and Northern America.

The blossoms of the chestnut tree have a brown shiny color and leathery shell. They may be eaten raw, but mostly are eat boiled, baked or roasted or as a chestnut puree sweetened or unsweetened.

Chestnuts are the only nuts, which can be treated like a vegetable since they contain more starch (30%) and less fat .

Chestnuts are also made into a flour high on starch and fiber.

CASHEW NUT

Originating in the West Indies and native to the north of Brazil, Portuguese explorers introduced the nut to India and Malaysia and parts of Africa.

The hard-shelled nut grows inside the cashew apple. When mature the cashew nut appears at the end of the yellow or red apple. The cashew tree is a member of the poison ivy family and farmers must take great precautions when extracting the nuts. The smoke and steam, which occurs however may still be harmful to eyes and skin. When heated the cashew nuts are benign and may be extracted.

GINKGO NUT

The ginkgo is the prehistoric maidenhair tree, which survives as a wild tree just in China.

The fruit looks like a tiny plum but has a foul and bitter shell. In China, the ginkgo nut is a favorite ingredient to vegetarian dishes. The nuts are available canned or fresh.

HAZELNUT/FILBERTS

The nut of the hazel bush is native to Europe and North America and was mentioned in writings as far back as 2838 B.C., and has been credited of currying many human ills in addition to being considered excellent for Boldness and use as a hair tonic. Some say that the title filbert comes from Saint Philibert, a French abbot whose feast day on 22 August coincides with the ripening of the first nuts in the Northern hemisphere.

Hazelnuts have a very hard shell, which has to be deciphered by a nutcracker before getting to the kernel.

PEANUT

The peanut isn’t a true nut. It’s the seed of a leguminous plant with a soft, brownish colored brittle shell and belong to the Botanical family of peas and beans. But they are usually considered in addition to the nuts because of they’re physical characteristics and nutritional value. The nuts grow on the long roots of this plant and beneath the ground. The peanut is native to Brazil and has been found there since the first recording in 950 B.C..

Today, peanuts are cultivated throughout the tropics all over the world (India, China, West Africa, Australia and the USA are the biggest peanut growing countries). Peanuts produce excellent oil, which is used for salads and cold dishes as well as for frying. Peanuts also produce peanut butter, margarine, and also used in canning of sardines. Peanuts are available complete, de-shelled and de-skinned and raw or toasted. Peanuts are used in many different varieties in everything from salads to main courses and desserts.

PINENUT

These are the edible seed of the pine tree and grow in the cone. It is very tricky to set up a pinenut industry since the trees are growing very slow and don’t carry a good deal of fruits until they’re 75 years old.

Pine nuts are largely got raw and then toasted, fried or grilled. Pine nut oil is used for the cosmetic industry. Pine nut flour is used in confectionery.

PISTACHIO NUT

The pistachio nut is a small green kernel, which develops on the pistachio tree originating in Syria, Palestine and Persia.

The natural colour of the shell is grayish white, but a few times the blossoms are dyed red to cover some of the discoloration.

Pistachios are often sold in their shell or shelled and blanched.

WALNUT

English walnuts, butternuts and hickory nuts are all walnuts, botanical speaking. All those walnuts have various shells and kernels but the English walnut with it’s rough, rippled shell and yellow brown kernel is the most popular and broadly called’The Walnut’.

Dealing with wasps

Wasps in gardens, picnic areas, pub gardens and communal areas in the summer months can quickly become a significant nuisance. Wasps are a social insect, forming colonies comprising anywhere from 5000 – 10000 wasps each season.

Hornet, Insect, Sting, Animal, Macro

The nest starts of as a golf ball sized nest made from chewed bark, dried lumber mixed with spit, within this starter nest she places between 10 and 20 eggs, the first brood of mature workers (sterile females) will take over the development of the nest and providing food for the next lot of eggs being laid by the queen. At the beginning of the season wasp pose minimum threat (this can be a different matter if the nest is interfered with) and it is only towards the end of the wasp season they become a nuisance towards individuals.

The remaining workers and few remaining men become lethargic, and their feeding on over-ripe fruit will produce a”tipsy” behaviour, resulting in aggression towards anyone interfering with them. The on-coming winter will kill off the workers and the remaining males, with only the fertilized queens surviving by hibernating. During this nuisance period, the wasps will be bothering the public in places like pub parks and gardens etc, they tend to feed off the sweeter food stuffs such as children’s lolly-pops, soft drinks alcoholic beverages, and pretty much anything containing sugar.

Obviously the nest (if near by) could be treated, but this may mean that the area being out of bounds for up to 24 hours, this could then lead to loss of business and loss of profits. However other methods for dealing with wasps can be found. New wasp treatment systems like the waspbane may be accessible to obtain from Wildlife Control.

The wasbane is a wasp trap, the wasps are attracted and lured into the trap with specially developed attractants, the wasps enter the room of the trap to get into the attractant, once the wasps have entered the trap they cannot escape. The trap can be placed at the bottom of the beer garden, around parks, or dangling from trees. In a recent study in a famous theme park, it was recorded that after installing the waspbane trap in various locations around the park, reports of wasp sting went down as much as 95% in 1 year.

Rodent Control

As much as with any household issue, the aforementioned quote rings true with a rodent infestation. When deciding on pest control procedures, most homeowners consider the advantages and disadvantages of traps, glue boards, toxins or live pets. What they fail to realize is they are just”hacking at the leaves”.

What’s the root of the problem?

Under most circumstances, the root cause of a rodent infestation is accessibility. While conventional methods of management may bring temporary relief, there’s a high likelihood rodents will return at the first sign of inclement weather. To get full control of the infestation, you need to”rodent proof” your dwelling.

Rodent proofing (also called exclusionary work) is a process that eliminates all rodent entry points. These things include, but are not limited to, small external cracks or openings, power lines, cable wires, plumbing pipes, and overhanging tree limbs. As it takes just 1/4 inch opening for mice to enter your house, it’s easy to know how tedious this exclusion process can be.

Mouse Rodent Cute Mammal Nager Nature Anim

The fantastic exclusion process starts with a comprehensive inspection. Look for rub marks, droppings, monitoring, and signs of gnawing. Special attention should be paid into the common rodent entry points listed below:

Entry Doors
Garage Doors
Chimneys
Dryer vents
Power lines
Roof vents
Plumbing pipes
Electrical conduit
Cracks in Foundation
Warped Siding
Once all access points are found, the size of the openings must be reduced to prevent rodent entry. The application methods and proper material selection reach far beyond this guide, but it is important to say that the nature and size of the openings mostly dictate which kind of materials should be used in the procedure.

Florida Weather

If you’re taking a trip to Florida, understanding what the weather is going to be like will be an extremely vital for a successful holiday. Like most of North America the weather can be somewhat inconsistent, but it definitely has patterns that will give strong indicators even when you are planning months beforehand. Everyone knows that it will be hot and humid during the summer, but judging by the way some people dress during the winter when going to the parks, they apparently don’t realize it can get quite cool at that time of year. Northern and central Florida can get chilly during the winter months.

When considering what kind of weather you may encounter on your Florida vacation, bear in mind that the state extends north and south for over 500 miles. With the majority of Florida also being affected by maritime conditions, there’ll be huge differences in climate conditions across the nation. North and central Florida extending south to the Orlando/Tampa area is deemed humid subtropical. This means that temperatures will remain relatively constant throughout the year and seasonal variations will be controlled by precipitation.

The holiday months of June through September will also be the rainy months. They lead in the hurricane period of August through October, which definitely vary from year to year. When planning your vacation hurricanes aren’t a reason to avoid Florida during the summer in my opinion. There is not any way to accurately predict long-term when or where a hurricane may hit, and unless you are heading there on a last minute trip the little chance of being affected by a hurricane on vacation is small. If you are in Florida and there’s a threat, with weather forecasting the way it is you will have plenty of time to react to volatile conditions.

Lightning Storm Weather Sky Thunder Strike

The one thing you need to be very aware of in Florida, especially when spending time outside at the beach, golf course or amusement parks is the danger of lightning. Florida reports more thunderstorms than any other state and has the highest density of lightning strikes in america. There are numerous deaths each year from lightning strikes, and they frequently come with absolutely no warning. They can occur any time throughout the calendar year, but are most prevalent during the summer months.

This is most likely due to greater awareness with risks with better and lightning warnings to the public when lightning is possible. But it is up to individuals to properly react to these warning signs, and if you are coming to Florida you should be very aware of how dangerous lightning is.

Why dogs run out the door

Your pet running out the door or out an open window can be a problem for many dog owners to confront on a daily basis. However, do not think that you won’t have the ability to heal your dog running out the door on you without some effort. Granted it may take some time, but you will have the ability to keep your dog from running out the door on you after some time.

Puppy Running Dog Animal Pet Cute Young Na

The first thing that you have to be able to do would be to discover why your dog is running out the door on you. Could it be because he is a male and a female dog is in heat down the road? That could be the reason your male dog could be running out the door. However, if your dog is female then you will have to look deeper into the reason why your dog is running out the door.

A reason that your dog is running out the door is because he spotted another dog intruding on his territory. That could be a reason why he charges out the door. So to address this problem you will have to find the owner of the intruding dog and ask them to contain the intruder to the yard he belongs in.

Your dog running out the door though could be a deeper issue than just a dog intruding into his territory it might be because he suffers from separation anxiety. If you think that the problem could be separation anxiety then you’ll want to consult with your vet about what you can do to help your dog with the separation anxiety. Helping cure your dogs separation anxiety might allow you to be able to escape the door without him daring out the door on you anymore.

So if your dog is running out the door on you then you may wish to find out what is causing him to head out the door. Is it because a female is in heat and he’s male? Any of these could be a variable, but when you do find the variable it is simple to find the cure.

Cottonmouth facts

The cottonmouth snake aka water moccasin which belongs to the Agkistrodon household, along with the copperhead is one of the most feared and respected venomous snakes in america.

They are the only semi-aquatic viper on the face of the planet. You’ll also notice that they have keeled scales to assist with life in the water. Though they are known to remain predominantly in deep rural areas of wet land, here lately in places like Miami, Fl they’re being located closer and closer to establish neighborhoods and businesses as their natural habitats are being developed into residential and business properties.

The eastern subspecies can be found along the coast of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and even into southern Virginia.

Gives birth to live bearing young that are equally as venomous as the adults. Although, they’re equally as venomous they don’t pack the punch that a 6′ plus adult carries because adults have much larger venom glands which permits them to eject much larger quantities of venom if needed.

Neonate cottonmouths look almost identical to neonate copperheads. Neonate (baby snake) cottonmouth and copperheads have very bright vibrant colours of orange, yellow, brown and black combined with a very bright colored tail that almost appears to glow.

Image result for cottonmouth snakeCan be identified by the manner in which they swim. Cottonmouths swim with nearly all their bodies over the water, while non-venomous water snakes swim nearly submerged.

Have an elliptical pupil opposed to an oval pupil like the non-venomous water snakes of america. They also have a much more triangular head compared to non-venomous water snakes that can assist with identification as well.

They are territorial and often investigate disturbances in their region. They are even reports of these swimming out to boats on the water.

Hemotoxic venom attacks blood, muscle and tissue cells.

Alligators

I feel that the Alligator is a very misunderstood creature. I know they have a very harsh exterior, but the alligator is actually very shy. I’ve been mesmerized by this wonderful reptile because I was a kid. There’s a lot more to the alligator than what people may realized.

Alligator Head

Here in Florida Palm bay fl squirrel removal stated that pretty much wherever there’s a mud puddle there’s probably a gator. There’s a lot of truth to this, but this is due largely to the fact that we’re taking away their houses on an alarming fast rate. I may be confused, but I am sure that they were here before us, yet people consider them to be a nuisance and invading their land. I am almost certain that it is really the other way around. If we’re taking away their houses then what do you think is going to happen? Where else are they supposed to go?

Something not everyone may know is that alligators are very important to our ecosystem.

Alligators shouldn’t be feared, but should be respected. They can grow to an extremely large size and wild alligator of 13 ft or more aren’t uncommon. Alligators in the wild do exhibit a natural fear of man, and if left alone would much rather stay away from people than attack them.

But, alligators lack the salt-extracting glands of crocodiles and cannot survive in salt water for extended periods of time. Alligators can be seen in a range of habitats such as marshland, swamps, rivers, ponds and lakes.

I am fortunate enough that I am able to sit out on my dock and watch this incredible creature, for hours.

I would like to share my story with you on how my love for the Alligator began, along with some really great information about the Florida Alligator. You will find some great pictures also, most of them taken from my own backyard.

Rodent Proof your home

It’s very common for people not to look at those problems they haven’t faced yet. It’s only logical because people can’t be afraid of things that do not really exist for them yet. In other words, people wait to experience a problem first-hand before doing anything about it. The best way to shield yourself from rodents like rat is to prevent their entrance to your dwelling.

Four Small White Brown Mice Poking Their Heads Out from a Bread Loaf

Preventing Entry

First thing you should be doing is finding all the weak points in your own defense. This isn’t going to be easy because rodents only require a little opening to enter your dwelling. Even the slightest of fractures can become a threat.

Trimming Trees

Another way to create your house inaccessible to rodents is to trim the flora around your dwelling. Therefore, you have to make certain that all trees and plants around you’re trimmed regularly whether they are near the floor or the roof of your home.

Removing Junk

The whole idea of bark proofing is that you deny rats those items they crave most. Rodents make their homes in areas that are otherwise hard to reach. Furthermore, they look for raw materials they can use to build their pathways and nests. For those who have an attic, a garage, or even a basement full of crap then you’ll need to find a way to eliminate everything because what you have created is the perfect habitat for rodents like rats.

Getting Expert Advice

Obtaining a rat proof attic is not that difficult, especially in case you can call on experts to do the job for you. In fact, it is a good idea that you seek out expert help for a task such as this because it doesn’t only require an investment of considerable time and effort but also lots of knowledge and skill. As an example, rodent proofing isn’t just about working on the construction of your house but also making certain elements and factors that draw rats are nonexistent.

Rodent proofing is best done by wildlife control near me so that there are no loopholes that rats can exploit to render your efforts redundant. If you want to know how the process works to give you a rat proof attic, you can look for them on the internet.

How to keep wildlife away

Raccoons, opossums, mice, bats, and birds can be cute and fun to watch, but some people just don’t know the possible dangers that these animal removal service forms of wildlife can pose to their loved ones and pets. An encounter with even a small and seemingly harmless wild animal that finds their way on your property could lead to severe consequences for you, your kids and your luxury cats and dogs.

Close-up of Fox on Grass

Wild birds and mammals can damage your property, mad trash receptacles and set up nests in your yard, on your shed or even in accessible areas of your home. Certain forms of wildlife carry fleas, lice and ticks and may bring the threat of potentially deadly diseases like rabies.

Simple Measures to Protect Your Family and Pets

Even if you live in a place where wildlife sightings are very common, it does not necessarily mean that there has to be an imminent threat to your children, dogs, and cats. In fact, there are some very simple steps that you can take to minimize the potential risk of an unwanted wildlife experience:

Maintain Trash Bins Securely Covered

By keeping trash in tightly tied bags and in cans with secure lids, you remove a major source of attraction for wildlife.

Ensure That Your Fence is in Good Condition

Don’t leave Pets Outside Unattended

Even with a good fence, some animals will still find their way to your yard. This can result in serious injury to both your pet and the wild animal.

Keep Cats Indoors

Cats are natural hunters and are not necessarily deterred by your fence. A cat who exits the boundaries of your property is at a much greater risk of injury because of wild animal attack, but to other dangers (like traffic, poison or traps left out by others for wild animals, etc.)

Ultrasonic Pest Protection

For homeowners who want to get a hands off and mess free way of keeping unwanted pests from their home, this can be a safe and effective solution.

Ultrasonic repellents are safe for people and family pets (you can not hear the noises, neither can your pets, there are no toxins and no threat of pets or kids suffering the injuries that can occur from snap traps). After the fast and easy initial setup, there is nothing to do but allow the device to operate driving away unwanted pests.

In addition to the steps above, simply avoiding contact with wildlife is also a major factor in keeping pets and family members safe. Don’t leave out food for wild animals, don’t intentionally engage with them and never encourage your pets to interact with wildlife.

Even those with the best of intentions and those who have taken the proactive steps mentioned above can still find themselves in a position where a wild animal has entered their home or garage and is posing a possible threat. In these instances, it is important that the situation is handled properly to minimize the risk.

It’s never a good idea to attempt to poison a wild animal on your property. Poison baits have components that attract wildlife (they look and smell like food), which might also attract your family pets.

Cornering a wild animal is also not wise. Raccoons, opossums, and birds could all become very territorial, especially if they have a nest nearby. Cornering them can insight an attack, which may lead to serious injury for any people or pets in the region.

If a wild animal has set up residence in your home, garage or lawn or is posing a risk to your family it makes sense to enlist the help of a professional. A wildlife control expert can quickly analyze the wildlife threat in your property and take the best steps toward elimination in a way that ensures the safety of your family and your pets and with minimal risk to the wild creature.

A trained wildlife control expert can also indicate the best methods for cleaning and sanitize the area after elimination and help set up protective measures to minimize the odds of future unwanted experiences.

Try to envision a time when life was much harder, and kicking back in the recliner, watching TV, surrounded by Cocoa Beach Opossum Removal all the comforts of home after a long day, was not even a fanciful notion. Instead, vigilance and invasion by a foreign entity of your town or home without notice was what was on the mind of freedom seeking people in this country. Even your own home wasn’t a safe space.

Sixteen year old Sybil, another young American patriot would have been a strong voice for Liberty in associations like Turning Point or the Tea Party now, but it was not to be her time.

What made her such an advantage to the freedom and reform movement anyway? Well Sybil’s father was a position Colonel who, in a battle situation required to muster reinforcements to counter an enemy attack while simultaneously planning his defense.

His troops were scattered over a 30-mile loop of country side and he had no mechanized transport or radio to help facilitate contact. Left with no one to call upon for help, Sybil, the only capable person available to get out a desperate call for help, chose to respond to what she considered to be her call to duty.

In her selfless act of courage, she rode for what seemed an eternity to notify as many as 400 troops who were ready to do battle to defend a lifestyle only dreamed of by authentic liberty seeking Americans.

Modern day Americans have no experience or perhaps a vision of what it’d be like to have a foreign influence coming to our shores to battle us, challenging our constitutional rights and freedoms. We live free in part due to the bravery of men and women like Sybil.

This time on American soil where there was no safe area for everyone to hide.

In the night attack, the British did burn Danbury, Connecticut, an important supply depot for the Continental Army, but due to Sybil, many people were prepared and escaped death.

Be kind to animals

Like it or not, behind every animal’s eyes is a life that matters. There is a living being with a mind, a beating heart, and feelings. They’re all unique, wish to live and feel pain just as you and I. Yet, most people do not see Indian Harbour Beach Squirrel Removal animals as individuals and don’t dare to treat them with the respect they deserve.

How do we remedy the problem before it’s too late?

You and I, as human beings, have the responsibility to protect Earth and all its inhabitants. All animals deserve freedom, respect, dignity, love, compassion, care and lifestyle. Believe it or not, how you eat has a profound impact on your health, the environment and the creatures that live on this world.

The tsunami of diseases which abound is mostly due to our lifestyle. And the intriguing thing is that the major driving force that produces illnesses is the human dependency on animal nutrition. Yet, behind every creature’s eyes is a life you couldn’t end yourself. Am I right?

“Eating death only makes us tired, age quicker and get sick. It’s bad karma.” – K.VD.

In prior centuries, meat was considered a luxury and average citizens never got it. Then, as time passed, people included it in a meal once a week, often on Sundays. But now, most people can manage it which in a way does not help. Despite all the warnings, they are eating an increasing number of meat.

And in today’s life, it’s a standard part of most people’s diet since it became a tradition. Yet, it links to heart ailments. And I won’t talk about dairy products. The excessive consumption of animal-based proteins or processed foods damages your body and diminishes your blood supply.

On the other hand, plant-based diets cannot only prevent the progression of cardiovascular disease or cancer but can also reverse its consequences. No matter your age, you can use plant foods as cure or medication to prevent many problems later on in life.

Behind Every Animal’s Eyes

Obviously, behind every animal’s eyes, there’s a heart. Yet, when a man murders an animal, it’s frequently called a sport. But when a creature wants to kill a person, it is called ferocity. Yet, when it actually comes down to it, humans are the cruelest species. So, aren’t we contradicting ourselves?

If you want to live a long and healthy life and contribute something to this world, then you have to act. And in case you can do any great thing or show any kindness to any living animal, do it. Don’t neglect it because you will not pass this way again.

So, look deep into any animal’s eyes, and then for an instant, trade places. Now, realize that all creatures deserve your respect and your protection, for in a way, they are you, and you’re them.

“Animals are my friends and I don’t eat my friends.”

The Life in an Animal’s Eyes

If you’re an animal lover, you probably already know that lots of animals are very intelligent and have emotions.

And they even have special requirements for those they care about, the same way you give your friends and family nicknames.

Yet, most humans only consider animals as food, trophy or items. Too often, countless folks treat them like commodities rather than individuals. So, most of them never get to experience these bonds that are outstanding. Instead, a lot of human beings expose to a life full of fear, stress, pain, sadness, and death.

– Mahatma Gandhi

Animals Are Innocent Souls

An animal’s eyes have the power to speak an remarkable language when you take the time to check into them. Recall also that compassion for other innocent living beings is the true judge of character. Animals have as much right as us to be here on this planet because they were created together with us.

And whoever said they were ours to do whatever we please with? You may be a meat-eater; nonetheless, I am not judging you but only trying to show you facts. Thus, do not mock vegan people as they’re just individuals who have the crazy idea that no creature should suffer.

However, humanity can no longer stand by and watch our amazing animals be abused and used in so many ways. Look in a creature’s eyes and make a stand, big or small, private or public. Do it before it’s too late. Remember, it takes away nothing to be kind to those gentle souls.

Happy and Passionate kids

Thinking back to our school days, we were taught different subjects, given a bit of advice about Cocoa Beach Squirrel Removal what profession we should follow and that’s about it. There weren’t, and still are not, any superb training programmes in school unless you are an athlete.

Furthermore, with recent UK government policy indicating that all young people should have a coach or mentor, it’s hard to see how this will work in practical terms.

This situation continues to be of concern because the education sector continues to cut budgets and careers services.

During my teaching career I have never experienced or seen schools, colleges and universities and, for that matter, workplaces tap into the main passions that we are all born with.

Imagine if the education system tapped into our core passions and encouraged educational subjects around those passions rather than trying to pigeonhole everyone?

Having worked with thousands of young people, my goal in life is to inspire and encourage parents, guardians and those who meet young people to coach them towards a life and career full of purpose and have fun doing it. That is the reason I’ve written this report.

Girl in Red Short Sleeve Dress and Flower Headband Holding Pen and Writing on Paper on Table

I see people’s eyes light up when they realize what’s possible and they see a future for themselves. This is particularly important for what we describe as the lost generation of children.

With young people I really like to see them discover what they want to do in life as this helps them focus on their choice of research.

So, let’s get down to it.

I’d love to help you to discover your child’s purpose in life and potentially your own – are you prepared? Remember that these exercises are best performed with young people age 14+ because this is the time when the family unit starts to consider further education at college and university. Additionally, this exercise is just as valuable for your older children age 18+, with or without assistance.

It is therefore easy to wander and ramble and accomplish little in life. I have known hundreds of students like this who have attended college and university without any concept of why they’re there or what they want to achieve in life.

To begin with try to talk with young people in a casual environment – do not sit them down and start grilling them since they’ll just walk off – usually!

As a career coach I use The Jack Canfield Success Basics and among the main places to begin would be to ask the young people in your family this query.

Ask them “What do you need?”

So the next question if they get stuck is to ask them what they don’t want e.g. to poor, homeless and jobless and just 3 examples.

Then ask “So if you don’t want to be poor, homeless and jobless what would you prefer instead”?

At this point either you or they could be composing a list. The list will usually include ‘things’ like automobiles and holidays in addition to more spiritual things like to be content and happy. It does not matter what the answers are right now.

Once there is a list ask your young person to hunt on the Internet for images of what they need and print them out. The images can then be placed on the wall to remind them daily what they’re aiming for. Some people exactly enjoy a list and that’s fine also.

Here is the first of many questions you can ask them. To work through the entire course you might want to get a book I have written for parents and career advisers.
